Our Mission Statement
“At Ribbleton Avenue Infant School we offer every child a happy and caring place to play and learn.”
Ribbleton Avenue Infant School lies at the heart of the rich, diverse community of Ribbleton on the outskirts of Preston City Centre. We are proud of the many religions, cultures and heritages of our children, their families and the community we serve.
We have a Nursery which caters for 52 three year olds. In main school we have 7 classes from Reception up to Year 2. Most of our children move to the neighbouring Junior school at the end of Key Stage One.
We have a talented team of teachers and teaching assistants working alongside our children in their classes. We also have a Family Support Worker to offer assistance to our children and their families. We have a Play Therapist and specialist teacher to support children for whom English is an additional language.
They visit school one day each week.
We have a breakfast club which opens from 8.15am each morning and afterschool clubs which run from 3.15pm-4.15pm, Mondays to Thursdays, term-time only.
We have a committed Governing Body who visit school regularly and make a valuable contribution to the success of our school.
We hope that you find all the information you require from our website but if you don’t please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to help!
